One of the most significant events in the textile industry, the International Istanbul Yarn Fair has opened its doors for the 22nd time. Held on March 26–28, 2026, at the Tüyap Fair and Congress Center, the exhibition brings together manufacturers, suppliers, and buyers under one roof, shaping the direction of global trade in the sector. With over 500 participating companies from 15 countries, the event is expected to welcome approximately 20,000 industry professionals from more than 100 countries.
Organized by Tüyap Fairs and Exhibitions Organization Inc., the fair stands out as Türkiye’s only international specialized exhibition dedicated to yarn. Taking place in Istanbul—strategically located at the crossroads of Europe and Asia—the event offers a significant trade and collaboration platform, supported by the country’s strong manufacturing infrastructure and geographical advantage.
Procurement Delegations from Nearly 30 Countries
The fair showcases a wide range of products, including natural yarns such as cotton, wool, silk, and linen, as well as technical and fancy yarns. Visitors also have the opportunity to explore fibers and fiber-based products, bobbins, spools, cones, textile chemicals, and dyes—covering various stages of the production chain. Sustainable production approaches and innovative yarn technologies stand out among the key highlights of the exhibition.
Beyond being a product display platform, the fair serves as a hub for establishing international business connections. Procurement delegations from nearly 30 countries—including Egypt, Tunisia, Morocco, Algeria, Iraq, Syria, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Georgia, Russia, Ukraine, Serbia, North Macedonia, and Kosovo—are attending the event. Throughout the fair, B2B meetings will enable participating companies to engage directly with buyers from diverse regions.
Design and Creativity Take Center Stage
As part of the fair, the Fabric Texture Design Exhibition and Fashion Show, along with interactive event areas, offer visitors the opportunity to experience the creative journey from yarn to fabric. These activities transform the exhibition into not only a commercial platform but also an inspiring environment.
A Global Meeting Point for the Industry
İlhan Ersözlü, General Manager of Tüyap Fairs and Exhibitions Organization Inc., stated during the opening ceremony that the Istanbul Yarn Fair is one of the most important platforms bringing together the industry’s production strength, design capabilities, and export vision with the world.
