Setting out with the goal of becoming a global meeting point for the carpet and flooring industries, ICFE is being organized for the first time under the name “International Carpet & Flooring Expo” in its third year. The fair will take place on 6–9 January 2026 at the Istanbul Expo Center, spanning 11 halls and a total area of 100,000 square meters, positioning it among the world’s largest carpet fairs. Supported by the Carpet Talks event series, ICFE aims to bring industry professionals together around current trends and innovative ideas.
Organized by Tüyap Fair Organization Group in cooperation with the Southeastern Anatolia Carpet Exporters’ Association (GAHİB) and the Istanbul Carpet Exporters’ Association (İHİB), ICFE continues to grow as one of the world’s largest carpet fairs. In 2026, the fair takes its global brand journey to the next level. Now in its third edition, ICFE goes beyond being merely a trade platform, positioning itself as a hub where design, innovation, and sectoral trends are shaped.
11 Halls, 105 Countries, and a Global Trade Network
ICFE 2026 will be held across 11 halls and is set to host nearly 500 exhibiting companies from 25 countries, including the United States, Germany, Belgium, China, India, Saudi Arabia, and Japan.
Thanks to extensive international promotional campaigns carried out across six continents and more than 80 countries, the fair is expected to attract nearly 40,000 professional visitors from 105 countries. Supported by digital applications and on-site navigation solutions, ICFE offers visitors the opportunity to explore the latest products, collections, and design trends in carpets and flooring. By bringing together a wide range of product segments, the exhibition comprehensively reflects the industry’s current production capabilities and design diversity. While 78% of exhibitors established new business connections in 2025, the target for 2026 is to increase this rate to 85%.
The Heart of Design and Innovation: Carpet Talks and Design Awards
Alongside its strong commercial volume, ICFE 2026 also stands out with its rich content program. As part of the fair, the ICFE Carpet Design Awards will evaluate outstanding works across various categories, including Handwoven Carpet Design and Machine-Made Carpet Design. A total of 10 designs will be awarded in the handwoven and machine-made carpet categories, and the selected works will be showcased to international visitors throughout the fair. In addition, Carpet Workshop areas—where visitors can experience carpet weaving processes firsthand—will add a dynamic dimension to the exhibition.
Within the scope of the “Carpet Talks” event series, topics such as current industry trends, new weaving techniques, sustainable material usage, contemporary approaches in design, and emerging technologies will be discussed. Experts from different disciplines will share their knowledge and experience with industry professionals. A wide range of subjects—from branding and artificial intelligence to traditional Hereke carpets and sustainability—will be explored.
