As part of our strategic partnership with ZEKI (Center for Tangible AI and Digitalization) at the Technical University of Berlin (TU Berlin), we are developing next-generation solutions that integrate artificial intelligence into carpet design and manufacturing processes.
By combining our manufacturing expertise of over half a century and our design strength with ZEKI’s advanced research in Agentic AI (Autonomous AI), we are working on AI-driven systems that support our employees, boost operational efficiency, accelerate product development, and empower the creativity of our design team.
The first AI-powered design assistant developed under this framework allows our designers to reinterpreting existing carpet patterns in seconds and create entirely new designs alongside our clients. By augmenting human creativity with artificial intelligence, we aim to deliver more customer-centric designs while significantly speeding up product development processes.
This collaboration focuses not only on today’s requirements but also on the future of the industry. The newly developed AI systems will contribute to generating innovative pattern concepts and product ideas by analyzing global market dynamics, evolving consumer expectations, emerging design trends, and technological advancements.
Our long-term vision extends even further. By combining AI technologies with innovative materials, we aim to develop smart carpets that will pioneer a new era in the floor covering industry.
In line with this vision, we are working alongside ZEKI’s multidisciplinary team of AI researchers and engineers in Berlin, while strengthening international knowledge sharing through the contributions of top-performing intern students from Türkiye who have joined the project.
