Gaziantep, Turkey’s textile production hub, is regaining momentum after a period of economic slowdown. The Gaziantep Textile Machinery Fair (GTMF 2025), to be held for the first time at the Middle East Fair Center between October 15–17, is set to shape the future of the industry.
The fair, which will be inaugurated by Deputy Minister of Trade Mahmut Gürcan, will host 228 brands from 15 countries. Leading machinery manufacturers from Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Belgium, China, and India, along with prominent Turkish companies, will showcase their latest technologies.
Breathing New Life into Slowed Production through Technology
Facing challenging global market conditions, the textile industry is once again turning to technology to enhance production efficiency. Positioned at the heart of this transformation, GTMF 2025 will not only serve as a machinery exhibition but also as a meeting point for innovation, R&D, and technology launches. The event will present the most up-to-date production technologies for dyeing, knitting, yarn, nonwoven, weaving, and carpet manufacturing. Visitors will have the opportunity to examine machines in operation and gain direct insights into efficiency, quality, and energy savings.

Strong International Participation Expected
The fair is attracting significant attention not only from Turkey but also from the Middle East, North Africa, Central Asia, and Europe. Buyers and investors from textile production centers such as Egypt, Iran, and Uzbekistan are expected to attend.
With its logistical infrastructure, accommodation options, and easy accessibility, Gaziantep offers an attractive destination for international visitors. GTMF 2025 will strengthen Gaziantep’s industrial vision on the global stage and make a strategic contribution to the regional economy.
Strong Support from Industry Representatives
The Gaziantep Textile Machinery Fair (GTMF 2025) is more than a sectoral event — it is a strategic platform reflecting Gaziantep’s industrial power and Turkey’s production vision, receiving full support from industry leaders.

Mehmet Tuncay Yıldırım, President of the Gaziantep Chamber of Commerce, emphasized the fair’s importance for both the city and the industry:
“Gaziantep has always been a center of trade throughout history. With our growing industrial capacity and advanced production infrastructure, we are the shining star of Turkey. We sincerely believe GTMF 2025 will add great value to the textile sector, and we are pleased to support this important organization.
Fairs are vital for our companies to establish new business connections, access global markets, and follow sectoral trends closely. They also provide significant social and commercial benefits to the local economy. We wish GTMF great success and benefit for all our members and the entire industry.”

Adnan Ünver, President of the Gaziantep Chamber of Industry, highlighted Gaziantep’s global role in textile production:
“Gaziantep is a world-class production center in many fields — from carpet yarns, polypropylene sacks, nonwoven fabrics, textile dyeing, and knitwear to garments and fabrics.
As the city with Turkey’s highest carpet exports, we highly value GTMF 2025 in line with our goal of producing carpets with our own machinery. This fair will significantly contribute to our sector’s technological transformation and international collaborations.”
Cengiz Şimşek, Chairman of the Gaziantep Organized Industrial Zone, underlined the importance of supporting industrialists:

“Gaziantep OIZ, covering 43 million square meters, is the largest organized industrial zone in Turkey. With the completion of our 6th zone, we aim to create employment for 350,000 people.
Investing in this economic climate is not easy; however, we must open new paths for our industrialists and support producers. GTMF 2025 will bring together investors and technology manufacturers, paving the way for new collaborations. It will be a fair worthy of Gaziantep, and we are ready to provide every kind of support for its success.”
Fikret Kileci, Coordinator President of GAİB, emphasized the fair’s regional and international significance:

“We believe GTMF 2025 will create new investment opportunities for textile companies in our region.
Fairs are not only commercial events but also platforms for social and cultural interaction. The connections to be established with national and international participants will further strengthen Gaziantep’s industrial identity. We are pleased to support the Gaziantep Textile Machinery Fair.”
Gaziantep: The Intersection of Production, Technology, and Culture
GTMF 2025 will be more than just a fair — it will be a journey through industry, technology, and cultural heritage. Combining Gaziantep’s rich history, world-famous gastronomy, and industrial dynamism, the event will offer visitors an experience full of business opportunities and discovery.
