Gümüşoğlu Tekstil, one of Gaziantep’s leading export-oriented carpet manufacturers, is preparing for an initial public offering (IPO). The company, which operates with a fully integrated structure and a 100% export-focused production strategy, has submitted its draft prospectus to the Capital Markets Board of Turkey (SPK).
Operating under the Voxx Carpet brand, Gümüşoğlu Tekstil stands among Turkey’s strong textile exporters. The company continues its IPO preparations under the leadership of Garanti BBVA Investment Securities. The draft prospectus submitted to the SPK has been published on both the Gümüşoğlu Tekstil Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. website (www.gumusoglutekstil.com.tr) and the Garanti BBVA Investment Securities A.Ş. website (www.garantibbvayatirim.com.tr).
Standing Out with Its Integrated Structure, Capacity, and Export Focus
Founded in 2002, Gümüşoğlu Tekstil operates in the 5th Organized Industrial Zone of Gaziantep, where it runs a fully integrated production facility covering 87,207 square meters of indoor space on a total area of 141,205 square meters. The company manufactures yarn, carpets, rugs, and floor coverings. Since the launch of the Voxx Carpet brand in 2017, Gümüşoğlu Tekstil has been pursuing its brand-building journey in global markets. The company manages all stages of production in-house—from yarn manufacturing and dyeing to woven and tufted carpet production. With an annual production capacity of approximately 20 million square meters of tufted carpets and a 100% export-oriented approach, Gümüşoğlu Tekstil stands out as one of the few major manufacturers in the sector.
TİM Ranking: 13th Largest Textile Exporter in Turkey
Nearly all of Gümüşoğlu Tekstil’s products are exported through its subsidiary, Gümüşoğlu İç ve Dış Ticaret Ltd. Şti. Today, the company exports to more than 30 countries, maintaining a strong presence particularly in the Middle East and Africa. According to the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM) list of the Top 1,000 Exporters of 2024, Gümüşoğlu Tekstil ranks 13th among textile exporters and 778th overall across all sectors in Turkey. In addition, Gümüşoğlu İç ve Dış Ticaret Ltd. Şti. was ranked 10th among the Top 27 Carpet Exporters in the Region for 2023, according to the Southeast Anatolian Carpet Exporters’ Association (GAHİB).
